How to Complete an eIDV check

Themis Search also allows you to verify a client's ID documents & confirm true likeness with a biometric image. You can do this in your office with a customer using a QR code, a laptop webcam or send the link to the client's Smartphone directly using their mobile number. 

1. Go to ‘eIDV’ section in Themis Search. 
2. Click ‘IDV client’. 
3. This will open a pop up explaining what to expect, click ‘Start’. 
4. You have two options: 
   1. If you are in person with the client and want to help them through the process, either scan the QR code to a device with a camera (e.g. Smartphone, Tablet) or click ‘Continue on Browser’ (if your device has a camera). 
   2. Enter the clients mobile phone number into the secure SMS text box to send them a text with the link to complete in their own time.
5. The client will be prompted to take a video of the front and back of the ID document - this will capture a screenshot of the document for your records. 
6. They will then be asked to take a biometric video which will request they turn their head at different angles to ensure they are a real person & are of true likeness to their ID document. 
7. Once the client has completed the form, it will appear in your eIDV tab to review & print out the report. 
8. Click on the individual to bring up their profile if you need to preview, then click the three dots under the ‘Action’ section.
9. Click ‘IDV report’. 
10. Here you can review the information & click ‘Print report’ to save as a PDF for your records.
